 📣 We’re thrilled to present the second 2019 issue of “UnitCargo´s World” out in October with various exciting news. One of them is the report from our celebratory event to mark 15 years of successfully doing business in the freight industry. Our “birthday party” took place on the 23rd of May in Vösendorf (Austria) and it turned out to be a great evening for the entire UnitCargo team as well as for all the invited guests. 📣 For us, this is a year of festivities, looking back and concluding a successful era of UnitCargo, as well as drawing inspiration to keep up the good work in the future. That being said, we also celebrated our first year of doing business in Serbia. UnitCargo Serbia, with offices in Novi Sad, celebrated its 1st milestone with a cocktail evening held in Belgrade on the 18th of September. To experience the atmosphere from that event, click here.

📣 In addition, the new issue of “UnitCargo´s World” will bring information about this year’s Forum Green Logistics platform concerning state-of-the-art developments in the field of rail cargo logistics. ​February brings our first 2019 issue of “UnitCargo´s World” with news of our birthday event to mark 15 years of business success. Taking place on the 23rd of May in Vienna it promises to be a great night for the entire UnitCargo team as well as for invited guests.
 
You can read about important changes taking place in the “UnitCargo´s World” including our new office/warehouse complex in UC Bulgaria as well as a re-organisation in UC Poland to better handle the rapidly growing traffic to that important destination.
 
For the first time we include a comment from a noted logistics expert, which in this issue is Bernd Winter, editor in chief of “Verkehr”, the oldest logistics newspaper in Europe.

October brings the first issue of the new format of our Journal. Re-titled “UnitCargo’s World”, it is expanded to 10 pages and published twice per year. Covering the key activities of the UnitCargo Team, this issue includes information on the UnitCargo Academy, our annual training session, as well as Wiener Wiesn − Vienna’s answer to the Munich Beer Fest.
 
Our “Closer to Customer”  initiative continues to expand with our Bulgarian Team taking centre stage at the Plovdiv International Technical Fair. In addition, it is time for our annual Customer Quality Survey. Please give us your honest opinion on our service via:

Further, September saw a full house for the Forum Green Logistics, the 4th of this annual event.

For this Christmas UNITCARGO Bulgaria is again playing its active role as a social responsible company. The whole Bulgarian team is dedicating its Christmas campaign to support the BCause Foundation in Bulgaria and its wonderful programme “Get Ready To Succeed”.
Get Ready to Succeed is a scholarship programme supporting excelling students, who have lost one or both their parents and have been raised in institutions or by relatives. For the past 12 years BCause Foundation has provided over 1100 scholarships, encouraging young people to believe in their own abilities and to achieve success through education. Get Ready to Succeed is a chance for these young talents to continue their higher education and to start their professional development.
UNITCARGO Bulgaria will support the Charity Programme through

• A special Christmas Market, organised by all employees,
• Payroll Giving – where employees donate directly from their monthly salary,
• And again, like previous years, UNITCARGO Bulgaria will donate a percentage of the profit in DECEMBER 2017 to support the BCause Foundation in Bulgaria and its charity scholarship programme “Get Ready To Succeed”.
