As a year 2020 was, certainly, full of challenges, but also, unfortunately, negative emotions. Sadly, in November 2020 a terrorist attack took place in Vienna, but our team from HQ UC Vienna was safe and everyone was fine. We sympathize with the victims and their families and pray that something like this will never happen again anywhere in the world. This quarter brought us some more news, reflected in our second 2020 Journal edition with many stories & interesting topics from “UnitCargo´s World”. 📣 Despite all the challenges that 2020 caused, UnitCargo, to our great joy, did not experience a major impact on its business, as revealed by our CEO in an interview on the front pages of this issue. 📣 How satisfied are our clients? This is a question we ask ourselves every year with the goal of growing and progressing together with our clients. Thus, our Quality Management conducts a survey every year, and you can find out more about it on p. 6. 📣 This issue of our journal also brings a farewell interview of our media associate of many years - former editor in chief of the Austrian transport magazine “Verkehr” - Bernd Winter. We are left with this interview as a nice memory of our wonderful cooperation during all these years; you can also find out what message Bernd has for UnitCargo. (p. 8) 📣 What has UnitCargo learned thanks to Corona? This question is not as easy to answer as it seems, but all of our branch office managers have tried to answer it plainly and honestly. (p. 10) 📣 The Adventure of Learning Logistics: As part of his regular activities, UnitCargo CEO, in the role of Chairman of the Transport & Traffic Division of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, visited on this occasion the Vienna Business School and its students, who see their future in logistics. (p.15) 📣 UnitCargo family grows: Despite many strange and negative emotions that Covid-19 caused on a global scale, UnitCargo not only managed to maintain a stable business, but also to grow through love, which also proves how happy and accomplished all our team members are in their private lives.
